AVM Convention Centre is inside the AVM Studios compound at 38 Arcot Road, Vadapalani, Chennai 600026, a few minutes from Vadapalani Metro station, about 4 km from Koyambedu (CMBT) and roughly 30–40 minutes from Chennai International Airport depending on traffic.

Yes. Both the 750-seat Grand Hall and the 200-seat Dining Hall are fully air-conditioned, and the venue has full power backup.

The Grand Hall seats 750 guests in theatre layout. The Dining Hall seats 200 guests per sitting. Other layouts (classroom, cluster, reception) are confirmed on request.

Yes: 2 suites and 12 air-conditioned rooms on site, typically used by the bride and groom, chief guests, speakers, artistes and organising teams.

Yes. The Grand Hall has a raised stage, suitable for wedding ceremonies, panels, launches, award ceremonies and performances.

Yes. Large weddings and conferences are run in flows: the hall seats 750 at a time while the dining hall serves 200 per sitting; tell us your expected footfall and we will plan the schedule with you.

Yes. AVM Convention Centre has two purpose-built kitchens, one strictly vegetarian and one non-vegetarian, with separate preparation areas, plus a dedicated hand-wash area near the dining hall.

Catering arrangements, including empanelled caterers and any outside-caterer policy, are confirmed at the enquiry stage. Tell us your preferences and we will advise what is possible.

Yes. The dining hall works for traditional seated service as well as buffet formats.

Yes. There is ample car parking within the AVM Studios compound, with 24-hour CCTV coverage.

Vadapalani Metro station (Green Line) is the nearest station, a short auto or cab ride along Arcot Road. Chennai Airport and Chennai Central are both connected to Vadapalani by Metro.

Yes. The venue has full power backup for the hall, dining hall, kitchens and rooms.

Yes, completely. The hall and dining hall are on a single level with direct access from the portico, and the raised stage has a ramp leading up to it. Tell us about any specific accessibility needs when you enquire so we can prepare.

Popular wedding dates and muhurtham days book out months ahead; corporate events typically need four to eight weeks. Enquire as early as your date is known.
