The Grand Hall is the heart of AVM Convention Centre: a fully air-conditioned hall that seats 750 guests in theatre layout, opening directly off the grand entrance portico on AV. Meiyappan Road. The space was built on one of the famous stages of AVM Studios, the same studio floors that launched some of the biggest stars in Indian cinema, and it keeps that sense of occasion, with a raised stage at one end and clear lines of sight down the length of the room.
For conferences and corporate events, the hall takes theatre, classroom and cluster layouts; for weddings and receptions it hosts the ceremony, the reception line and the stage décor while the adjoining dining hall turns over sittings of 200. Because the venue sits inside the secured AVM Studios compound, guests arrive through a dedicated entrance with ample car parking and 24-hour CCTV coverage.
